I have a strong track record in all these areas, with former students attaining places at Oxford University (E&M Lady Margaret Hall), RGS Guildford (11+), Charterhouse (13+), Churcher’s

 I offer bespoke lessons dedicated to improving students grades and performance in economics and maths, both at GCSE and A-Level.  I use best in class online educational technology: online whiteboards, optional recorded lessons and extensive notes to maximise student engagement and benefit from lessons.

George Chantry is a fantastic teacher, a lovely person and I cannot recommend him highly enough. Since working with George, my son has grown in confidence, is significantly in front of anyone in his year group and looking to do Maths GCSE two years early. George has been tutoring my son in mathematics for several years and I can’t recommend him strongly enough. When my son completed year 6 maths was one of his weaker subjects. Since he was attending a highly academic school with high expectations in Maths we felt it important to get a good tutor to ensure he didn’t fall behind. Not only has the tutoring with George ensured he hasn’t fallen behind, but after several months with George, he was placed in the top set for mathematics. Maths is now a very strong subject for him as he goes into his final GCSE year.

George has an excellent friendly and engaging way about him and even though the tutoring has been remote, it has been outstanding. I couldn’t imagine it being any better in person. My son looks forward to his time with George since he enjoys the deeper understanding of mathematics that he learns from his sessions and recognises the benefits of the 1 to 1 attention from George. I would have no hesitation in recommending George as a math tutor and am very pleased

that we have been fortunate enough to have come across him – he has made a huge

difference.

 George is an excellent tutor and our experience with him was great. He is very punctual, always organized, and very supportive in catering to our changing needs in every lesson. George has been terrific for my year 11 son who has IGCSE and AQA Level 2 this summer. They are able to cover new ground in the further maths paper as well as revise the completed IGCSE curriculum. The remote learning technology George uses is effective in the one-to-one sessions.
